I'm referring, of course, to Pirates of the Carribbean. OK we have two very handsome men swordfighting, a woman who is so beautiful she seems to be from another world, we have amazing special effects and dazzling natural beauty and unbelieveable costumes and great battle sequences... and lots of humor and it's very entertaining BUT NO STORY!! The story was utterly incomprehensible, and made absolutely no sense, and the plot was so ridiculous it had more holes than a texas interstate highway! There is no way anyone could follow that story. And what bugs me is. Everyone says: "Who cares? it's a popcorn movie" But really it annoys me when it's impossible to follow the story. The script was kind of hodgepodge mess... and the octopus davy jones/flying dutchman? just wierd for the sake of being wierd. And yet, it's the biggest grossing movie ever for being out two weeks... I don't get it!!
I found it very easy to follow... But that's me...
