How To Make A Small Bedroom Seem Larger
In many homes, one bedroom is quite a bit smaller than the rest. Some seem so tiny that you are hard pressed to find a place for the necessary furniture. Items such as game systems, televisions, and desks may have to be left out of the design. Luckily, however, there are tricks that can help create the impression that a bedroom is more spacious than it actually is.
Make sure that the furniture is scaled to the size of the room. You might want to include a full size loft bed, since the raised sleeping area frees up floor space underneath. This area is usually sufficient for a futon, desk, or bookcases.
You will use a great deal more of your available floor space for a dresser than a chest. However, do not purchase a massive chest, since it can actually cause a room to seem more crowded. You could also eliminate both items and use organizers in the closet to store things that you would normally keep in a dresser or chest.
Hang a wall mirror to serve as a grooming aid and to make the room seem both brighter and larger. One without a frame or that has only a thin metal band as a frame is best. Oval and rectangular shapes work about equally well, so choose whichever you prefer. Never try to squeeze a free standing mirror into a crowded bedroom.
The bedding collection you select can have a major impact. Light colors or small prints work best, while dark, large floral prints tend to make the area seem smaller. Solid colors can be mixed or matched with other solids or with the tiny prints. The best combination is often achieved by using pastel solids with unobtrusive prints, as a large, unbroken expanse such as a bed can sometimes make the room seem crowded.
A quilt set can be an easy way to dress up the bed in a small room. Look for patterns that have a prominent ecru background and limited use of colors such as burgundy, hunter green, or dark blue. Another good choice of quilts would be a white or ecru background that features small embroidered designs rather than patchwork.
Limit wall hangings and accessories. Too much art on the walls can make it seem as if they are closing in on you. Accessories add clutter and make cleaning and dusting more difficult. Uncluttered rooms seem larger, so you also want to establish a place for all belongings and keep them put away.
By planning ahead, you will be able to make a tiny room feel much more spacious. Consider what impact the colors, lighting, and scale will have, and it will be easier to design a functional, cheerful room.
Do sculpted, heart shape faces look better or chubby ones on kids?
I'm 12, almost 13, and I want to know what will look better for me. I want to look my age, maybe even younger. I have a heart/oval mix face, with a pointy chin. I currently have some cheek fat, even though I am near underweight. Which looks better, and how can I get them while being healthy?
I want to look cute, like a little kid.
Why would you want to look younger? Most 12 year olds wanna look older.
Definitely chubby faces do though. And big lips.

_EcoBoost Finds Right Mix Of Power, Efficiency_
The sport utility vehicle became an endangered species not long after fuel
prices began to skyrocket. But while vehicle buyers changed their shopping
habits, they didn't actually stray that far from the SUV formula. Many of
today's hottest-selling vehicles are crossovers; essentially the same tall
wagons as the SUV, but with a lighter unibody chassis.
Among other things, the CUV promised to deliver superior efficiency, and while
some improvement has been evident, in many cases, the genre's fuel savings
have failed to impress. A good case in point is the Ford Edge. When Ford's
two-row CUV entered the market in 2007, it managed only 24 miles per gallon on
the highway, and many buyers struggled to hit 20 mpg in mixed driving cycles.
There were plenty of reasons for its unimpressive efficiency. Most crossovers
remain substantially heavier than a comparable four-door sedan, and with
plenty of frontal area, they don't exactly slice through the wind. But perhaps
the biggest issue has been unevolved powertrains.
Ford thinks it has the answer to that problem in the form of its new EcoBoost
2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. ...
